Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Catholic University of Portugal in 2002. Simultaneously, he obtained the degree of Master in Environmental Diagnostics from the University of Cranfield, United Kingdom, with the approval of the thesis dissertation on Biological Treatment for winery effluents, in a Port wine producing company.

In September 2002, he joined the company Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, SA, where she worked as a consultant in national and international projects international organizations in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, agriculture and the environment.

In March 2004, she was appointed Advisor to the Councilor’s Office responsible for Department of Urban Hygiene and Solid Waste of Lisbon City Council.

In October 2005, he began his collaboration with Lisboa E-Nova,l – Agência Municipal Energy and Environment, with functions to support intervention projects, communication and information.
In September 2016, she began her duties as Executive Director of Associação Smart Waste Portugal.
