CATAA

The Agro-Food Technological Support Center (CATAA) is dedicated to research, development, technology transfer and training, with a main focus on the agri-food sector. It comprises three laboratory units (physical-chemistry, microbiology and sensory analysis) and four technological development units (dairy, meat, olive oil and fruit and vegetable products).

The research unit counts on the participation, in consortium, of industries, universities, polytechnics, research centers and national and international institutes.

CATAA is a training entity certified by the Directorate-General for Employment and Labor Relations (DGERT), whose recognition guarantees its ability to provide quality training services.

We have a specialized team that supports the development of new agri-food products, prepares personalized reports on trends in the agri-food sector, promotes training sessions, assists with applications for European funds and cooperates in the area of ​​communication.

CATAA has been developing joint lines of work with different companies and institutions, thus allowing the transfer of know-how, increased competitiveness, innovation and consequent enhancement of products.
